2008 - QuiCk LisT

this is a quick reflection of what have i been, experienced n encountered in the year of 2008:

• i write a lot in my blog... it functions as my diary i could say... maybe its easier to browse here than to hv my mind working n retrieving... haha


• i entered the UKM campus for my 3rd year degree... its kinda new experience for me the first few weeks to be away from my heaven... hehe... i learn so many new stuff here which cant be listed down... as example how to manage time, how to be patient in waiting for bus, how to be slighty individualistic, how to spend wisely n etc... on top of that, this year has also enabled me to receive the 1st Dean's Award in UKM n the 2nd in 3 years time... hehe


• get to meet so many new ppl... from frens to more than just frens n etc... learn abt diff ppl who come in diff personality...


• get to watch Anugerah Skrin n Festival Filem Malaysia lively as the result of working on it... finally, i got to see those celebrities face to face n see the real world of celebrities...


• experience the first time having a real semester break...


• face so many ups n downs... i consider 2008 as one of the most challenging year i hv so far... conflicts particularly in rship n frenship happened so many times this year n i almost gave up... hopefully the coming year wont test me as hard as 2008 does... hehe


• i think my interest in watching movies n tv series gets stronger this year... its gud but it makes u addicted... i did when i watched the whole series of Ezora & Sutera Maya... how awful that was... hehe


• i went back to my kampung for the first time ever for Hari Raya Aidiladha... after 21 years celebrating it in Kuching, this year has made a history... hehe

so far, that's all can i think at the moment... there are more actually but i just cant think abt them now... any news will be updated later... haha... in conclusion, 2009 has been a year full of experience to me... it teaches me a lot (i really mean a lot) esp in rship n frenship... at least it teaches me huh... thank you 2008 for being another great n memorable year for me...

2 DaYs B4 2009

time flies so fast... my holiday will come to its end soon... n ill be back to my normal routine in UKM... im x sure if im hepi for it or not... believe it or not, ill be leaving Kuching in less than a week... so kesian kan??? this is the first time i have a really holiday... coz before this, though its holiday, i wasnt going anywhere... IPBL and my home is onl 10-minute-driving... so the sense or feeling isnt there much as now... now, i need to be in the plane for abt 2 hours, then only ill be in my own hometown... sad?? yup i do feel sad... but thats the circle in life dude... i just hope that time will fly fast too when im in UKM... so ill be able to go back home... hehe... for the past few days, ive been searching Siti's latest album the whole Kuching... thats the problem wif the delivery here... i think so... nevermind, as a loyal fan, ill keep on searching for it... hehe... well, on top of that, i do my normal routine, which is surfing, watching my fav tv series, n having the gud time at home... im gonna miss these routines so much when im in UKM... huhu... new year is approaching... am i ready for it??? i myself duno if i am... hope i will... there r so many things that i wanna achieve in 2009... so far, i hv not yet set any resolution but maybe i will... hehe...

• ever thought of being like a Cinderella??? working damn hard to earn living and finally get to live happy ever after??? miracle happens when u meet such a damn prince charming who wants to be wif u and tries so hard to look for u??? well, i do...
• i think a lot of ppl know how much i love to watch those sort of movies, i mean the dreams-come-tru movies... The Prince and Me, Another Cinderella Story, Just My Luck to name a few... i think i really get inspired via watching such movies... its just a movie but i do hope that my life would turn like theirs... hehe...
• well, some ppl say u need dreams to be a reality.... but how much fantasy can we put on in order to turn the dreams as wat we wanna it to be??? thinking abt it stimes makes us feel that we cant really decide which one is the truth... having a dream or wat... well to me, maybe it sounds weird but i dun care...
• to me, I NEED A DREAM THEN ONLY CAN I TURN IT TO A REALITY... I DUN CONSIDER MYSELF LIKE 'THE PRINCESS DIARIES' or "PUTERI IMPIAN" n etc... i need dreams to be achieved... agree???
• well, abt the poster above... another dream-comes-true movie that inspire me... how i wish i could be like SAM... maybe u guys will get irritated as i did say this before when i wanna be like PAIGE MORGAN in The Prince n Me... nasibla, my dreams wat... hehe... it was produced few years back n i've just watched it when the 2008 has almost come to the end...

• well, what have i been up to so far??? well, last Friday, i went to book fair at permata... it wasnt planned actually... i had sth else to do n then i thought of going there... so i went there without any plan... just merely goin there... guess what??? i, the person with no interest in reading books suddenly busied myself looking for books...
• so at the end i managed to find ard 7 books that seemed to be interesting... finally, after choosing n thinking, i only picked 3 books... one of the books is the one above... i guess it's my luck as i found the book wif the price RM12... earlier on, i found the same book under the best seller section sold at the price of RM29++ n discount 30% only... i asked the ppl there n they told me its my luck to get the cheaper one... without hesitance, i straight away bought it...
• actually, i did ask Kim before abt Falling Leaves, written by the same author n Kim said its a gud book... i trust Kim's choice n i started reading it that nite... i finished reading it within 2 nights... i love the book so much... so sad as the book is abt the unwanted children, being isolated by her own family as she was regarded as bad luck due to the death of her mom upon her birth... the story talks abt the true experience the write encountered in her childhood... i thought that she had had tought time in her childhood...
• her story in a way motivates me... being grateful in my own way, perhaps... so dear bookworm or whatsoever u call urself, lets read this book... its a very amazing book told in the first point of view... then only u can understand the suffer encountered better... can u imagine that u r being isolated by ur own family??? being sent away to boarding school n were not allowed to come back home during holidays??? being scolded in the public??? not allowed to go out, have frens, being treated differently, given lousy food while the other could eat well??? these are the tortures found in this book...
• so ppl, do read this book... amazing masterpiece by ADELINE YEN MAH... btw im looking for FALLING LEAVES... anyone has it??? haha.....

CaPeK SiH!!!

• hari ini gue capek banget... sememangnya 2 hari ini gue amat capek banget sih... nggak tau gi mana mau explain... 2 ari ini umpama hari keluar bagi gue... mendingan gue ceritain sumanya sama lo suma... semalam, yakni ari selasa, gue keluar sama usu dan adik gue... iyola, kaya shopping gtu... gue nyempat beli sepasangan jeans baru aja... nanti-nanti la bila udah ada uwang yang mencukupin, gue pasti belian yang lain... hehe...
• ari ini, gue kembali beraksi di pentas superstar kayak nya gitu... seawal 10 pagi lagi, gue udah keluar ngambilin si Nana, Hai sama si Kim... bilangnya mau gi ke Jong's Crocodile Farm... mulanya, gue malas bangat mau masuk kerana gue geli sama buaya... tapi iyola, udah diajakin sama mereka bertiga, gue setuju aja... kok bisa nemu si Deal sama kakak dan cousinnya yang udah selesei melawatin sekitar kawasan itu... sama sekali nggak nyangka... haha...
• ladang itu kok besar amat... banyak buaya lagi tu... takut sama seram juga rasa gue... takut kerana bisa-bisa aja si buaya itu kok berbunyi... gerun sih!!! lepas abisan jalan2 di situ, kami pamit lantas gi kenyalang... ngomongnya mau meliat2 casing handphone nana... lantas, kami terus ngambil si Ina dan pergi makan... habisan, kami terus pergi Boulevard sama Avon lalu pulang... capek banget sih... bisa gila kalau setiap ari keuar kaya gini... ngomong sikit, ketawa... ketawa nya kaya orang mereng sih... udah tentu mangsa buli nya si Ina... hehe... apa-apa pun, gue mau bilang makasih ya sama si Kim udah sudi berkunjung ke Kuching sih... sori ya nggak bisa bawa lo jalan-jalan... hehe... HO YEK!!! HO YEK!!!

The eyes of the world were on one stage when Kseniya Sukhinovia from Russia was crowned Miss World in a glittering, star-studded ceremony at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg, the City of Gold. The 2008 Miss World Festival, a record breaking year in the number of contestants taking part, has seen 109 beautiful and talented contestants spend an unforgettable month in South Africa. However, there could only be one winner and the applause rang out in the packed Convention Centre as Julia Morley, Chairman of the Miss World Organisation and of the international panel of judges, announced the winner's name. Kseniya Sukhoinova smile spoke a thousand words to a worldwide TV audience of over 2 billion as she was crowned by last year`s Miss World, Zilin Zhang. First runner-up was Trinidad and Tobago followed by India as second runner-up. The other two finalists were South Africa and Angola.

SiTi's UpdaTeS

as far as im concerned, i hv never posted any entry on my fav singer, Siti Nurhaliza... i just duno y... but fro this entry, its gonna be a very spesel entry for her, especially her latest development (x sure if its the rite word to use)... hehe... well, i was s urfing last nite that i was suddenly reminded of sitizone.com (her official website)... so i quickly surfed her web n i found out that she's kinda busy now wif few activities n events... here, a quick list of what she's up to for the the time being:

• she will be launching her 4th traditional album after SIX years since the last album. the album "LANTERA TIMUR" will be released on the 26th Dec 08. a special entry abt this album will be posted later. so to all Siti's fans, do support this album. so many talented composers involve in this project such as M Nasir, S Atan, Pak Ngah, Johan Nawawi n etc...

• Siti will be involved in SPA Q 2nd season starting this monday. though she is just a special appearance in a short scene in it, this is still a big tribute to her fans. if she sings Ku Mahu in the first season, a new track entitled "Pada Cintanya" composed by Audi Mok n lyrics by Rina Khan will be sung by her. a very nice ballad song, i suppose. i hv listened to it and its a very easy listening song. do check it out ya!!!

• she has also agreed to contribute in a mega project by Mamat Khalid, "KELIP-KELIP", an animation film. so we will be able to listen to her voice in this animation film soon.

• apart from "Kelip-Kelip", there is also rumours saying that she's gonna involve in a film by Adnan Abu Hassan entitled "Bunian". its x confirmed yet wha she's up to. wateva it is, hope she's gonna act in it.

• after Ayat-ayat Cinta, another fantastic film will be screen soon. 'Perempuan Berkalung Sorban' is another film Hanung Bramatyo. Siti involves in this mega project. she is singing 2 main songs for this film. 2 songs sung by her are "Batasku Asalku" and "Ketika Cinta Memanggil". 'Batas Asalku' is a song composed by Siti herself while the later one is a song originally sung by Opick. cant wait for these two songs. hehe....

those are Siti's updates for the moment... im too excited for all these to happen... cant wait u know... Gudluck Dato' Siti Nurhaliza....

• its been quite a while that im 'silent'... hehe... where have i been??? what have i been up to??? well, i hv been away for abt a week... i hv gone back to Kampung in conjunction wif Hari Raya Haji la katanya tek... it was kinda a last minute plan... so nothing much to be expected actually... but, i am hepi coz this is the first time in my life celebrating Iduladha in kampung... usually, we celebrate it in Kuching every year... so nang mcm best la balit this time around since we were not celebrating Idulfitri in kampung this year...
• adding more joy to it was i met my new nephew... he was born last year punya tahun baru, 31.12.07... he is damn cute n i love his very much... pity me coz i dun take any pic of him coz i dun bring camera... huhu :(.... but he made my intention to adopt kids getting more and more.... his name is AZNIL... he has lesung pipit on both his cheeks... very sweet u know... nang rasa mcm nak adopt nya jak... haha...
• so the pics above are some of the pics taken last year punya raya... btw, do pray the renovation work of the house succeed... rumah ala2 rumah agam yang penah didiami oleh hampir 35 orang ya akan dikecikkan since my aunts n uncles dah pindah diam kedirik... so now only less than 10 staying there... so kinda relevant la the idea of making the house smaller... hehe... gudluck to Udak Keri & Adi... chaiyok man!!!
• one gud thing abt goin back for me is the atmosphere that i get n experience in my hometown... the welcoming ambience can be felt by me... thats y though stimes i dun feel like wanna be back, ill be sad when the time to go back to Kuching comes... weird isnt it??? but thats a fact of life i guess... so guys, do pay visits if u still hv kampungs!!!!

• ive just finished reading the novel Ayat-ayat Cinta that i bought last july.... i only started reading it seriously about 4 days ago.... this is bcoz i didnt hv time to read it after buying it last July... so durjana isnt it??? well, i really love the novel... in fact, after finish reading the novel, i watched the movie for the third time.... in order to get the feel la katanya...

• for those who havent read the novel, u better do so coz in a way, reading the novel gives different satisfaction compared to watching the movie.... coz there are some parts in novel are not shown in the movie.... the ending is more or less the same though some changes occur.... but i think reading the novel will give more understanding about the story.... of course, there are some scenes added and some parts deleted.... thats y we need to read the novel as well.... hehe...

• for me, honestly, i love the novel.... i just love all the 5 main characters in the novel via the way the author describes them.... FAHRI ABDULLAH SHIDDIQ, AISHA GREIMAS, MARIA GIRGIS, NURUL AZKIYA JA'FAR ABDUR RAZAQ & NOURA BAHADUR........

• A MUST READ NOVEL!!!!

QueeN of D NiTe - SyaFiNaz

this video actually amazes me very much... its just that i know Syafinaz is a great singer but never have i thought that she could deliver the song "Queen of The Nite" brilliantly... can u imagine that she really sings well with that sort of arrangement... its sounds impossible but it is possible... syafinaz proves that she can sing well and brilliantly... so do enjoy the video and see how she proves Malaysian singers are talented...actually, the pain in singing this song is shown through her expression... but i salute her for that... U GO GURL!!!!
